Chart plates that survive a contested merch meeting

Six plates are usually enough: window, exposure, lift, caveats, contribution, and the decision asked of the room.

Dense dashboards invite browsing. A merch meeting needs a decision. When we run a lift visualisation briefing, we cap the pack and force a narrative order:

  1. What window and placements were in play
  2. Who was exposed
  3. Attach-rate lift with the agreed metric
  4. Caveats in plain language
  5. Contribution by category or price band
  6. The decision the room must take

Speaker notes matter as much as the plates. If a caveat cannot be said aloud in one breath, it is not ready for the pack.
